A wind chill warning remains in effect until 12 PM Friday.
Bitterly cold temperatures will combine with northwest winds to produce dangerous wind chills of 25 (-31 c°) below to 40 (-40 c°) below zero this morning. For a brief time this afternoon wind chills of 20 (-29 c°) below to 30 (-34) below are possible but are expected to fall back to 25 below to 40 below tonight. A wind chill warning means the combination of wind and very cold air will create dangerously low wind chill values. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia or death if precautions are not taken.
