There’s a new MOSS issue out, songs about money. Oddly, I thought this one would be quick and easy to make, I had a few songs in mind already. But the more I thought, and the more I dug online, the more I realized it’s a bottomless pit. There are hundreds of songs with money in the title, and many more that mention it. So I had to make some choices. I ended up with six winner and eight runner-up tunes, ranging from Pink Floyd to Liza Minnelli to Chuck Brown, The Drifters and, yes, ABBA. As usual, if you like it, please share it.
While digging, I found this gem that I had forgotten. It’s a lovely art school version of Sex Machine by the Flying Lizards (whose version of Money made it into the top six). Enjoy.
