For this issue of MOSS, out yesterday, I’ve put my two most recent projects on a collision course. MOSS’s theme is songs about Prison with tunes by Johnny Cash, James Carter (recorded in prison in 1959 and featured in the Coen brothers movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou?) and Sam Cooke (plus several runner ups). Of course it’s a nod to The long View, my Tumblr photoblog about jails.
