Stando qui negli USA ho potuto coltivare alcune mie perversioni americane, come gli abiti da lavoro (che qui sono una sublime arte, e costano pochissimo) o il country malato. Che ho scoperto essere assai poco noto presso i giovani, che conoscono solo il country pi\u00f9 stereotipato – e spesso di estrema destra. Esiste invece, e ne ho gi\u00e0 parlato qui, un altro country, pessimista e tossico, ubriaco e struggente. Tra i migliori esempi c’\u00e8 Guilty<\/a> di Randy Newman (che \u00e8 stato un mio inno totale), o Willin<\/a>‘<\/em> dei Little Feat (band ingiustamente dimenticata anche per via della scomparsa di Lowell George<\/a>, che ne era il motore): i camionisti americani la considerano una loro canzone, anche se mi pare abbastanza universale degli on-the-road-die-hard. Recentemente i rimanenti Little Feat hanno pubblicato un nuovo album di hit risuonate, ma non \u00e8 un granch\u00e9. Semmai voleste procurarvi Willin’<\/em>, la versione perfetta \u00e8 quella dell’album live Waiting For Columbus<\/em>. Che dice:<\/p>\n
