This is my first (structured and completed) attempt at making videos. It's an ongoing series started in 2005 using the Mars rovers' panoramic images, thanks to Nasa/Jet Propulsion Lab. These huge hi-res photo mosaics contain details that explain "life on Mars" much more than a thousand words. The videos are an attempt to show these details in relation to the landscape, also to discover that, after all, the martian landscape is truly beautiful in an oddly familiar way. File under Art & Science.

The project was originally signed as Animo Zegels, the name I used in the past when I made visual/graphic things. The music is also mine: various pieces I made (mostly for other purposes). A DVD version for public performance or broadcasting is available upon request.
